I thought many writerly thoughts this weekend. Not a whole lot of writerly words, but I'm reading The Queen of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner and thoroughly enjoying it. I finished book 1, The Thief last week. This is all very good for the writerly me.
I cleaned, washed and folded a lot of laundry, put things away, slept, and threw out junk. Throwing out junk is a really good feeling. I should do more of that.
Do you have a particular dish that you just really don't enjoy washing? I hate washing cookie tins. They are unwieldy, almost never fit in the sink, and are awkward to scrub. Wet elbows, ew.
I enjoy making cookies, just loathe washing the tins. Good thing cookie season is over!
Speaking of cookie season. I've never had Zorro so willing to give away cookies. I didn't make as many this year as in the past, and I think we ate less sugar this season than ever before, but it was still more than usual and we are sooo tired of sugar! Thankfully folks at work are still eating sugar, either that or the gnomes have been doing their part to clean up the cookies I keep leaving out in the department.
I am finally making progress figuring out Lightroom, my fancy schmancy photo editing program that has been too overwhelming to deal with until recently. I may even see efficiency on the horizon, boy will I be glad when that arrives! You will too, trust me.

YAY Lightroom!! Ohmyword. It will rock your world!!
