maroon pants

There is a picture of my mother when she was a teen, she was wearing peach colored pants, a striped sleevless top, and her long blonde hair was down. Reminds me she has always made her own fashion, and looked good doing it. Perhaps that is why the colored pant trend has gotten me at last. I've always gone for green pants (or camo pants) in the past (and still adore my green and camo) but now I'm bringing color into my professional life. I'm also excited because the original price on these suckers was $70, and I got them for $11.

Did you have a good weekend? Did you have a 3 day weekend? I did. I went to see the Hobbit for the third time (with a friend who hadn't seen it at all!). It's a fascinating crowd the third week a cult film has been out. I sat next to people who must've chosen this film at random because they lasted about 40 minutes before they started to figet, sigh, and whisper "when is this movie going to end?" They eventually left--right after Rivendell (so, they missed at least an hour of the film). I am deeply curious how they came to attend the Hobbit without having the slightest idea what type of movie they were going to watch (if nothing else they knew it was a fantasy, right?).

The next day I went to help a friend find some shoes (yay winter clearance and God's fine weather for a walking mall)--that's where the maroon pants come in--and Monday I spent some much needed time home alone. I love people, but sometimes I just need to be alone. Introverts unite. In different houses.

I worked on photo books. I am almost done. I think I can actually do this for $30ish thanks to coupons. I just have to finish and place the order tonight before the deal expires!
